When I connect my Canon camcorder wont to do something?
I connect my camcorder to my computer with a USB cable and custom I login and I have to import my videos on my computer so that you can help me
Since you do not tell us about Canon digital camcorder or computer is a bit of a challenge, but I suppose you use a tape-based MiniDV Camcorder Canon ... You must connect the DV port on the camcorder FireWire 400 port your computer via a FireWire cable. USB will not work. FireWire400, IEEE1394a, DV and i.LINK are all the same. Wearing a DV camera MiniDV tape is always 4-pin. The FireWire 400 port on your computer may be 4-pin or 6-pin ... taken into account when the FireWire cable. If your (Windows) computer has a FireWire port, it is hoped that has an expansion slot to add one. The Apple Macintosh computers have a Firewire port level for 10 years - the only exception is the new MacBook Air - no FireWire port. You need a 4-Pin to 6-pin FireWire cable.
