Difference Beetwen 70-300 IS and 70-300 IS USM?
Hey. This is the first time I'll buy one of these goals (70-300). The fact is that SI is normally € 150, while USM is 600 €. I kill animals (especially at the zoo, far away, and dogs and cats that I see on the street or when we somewhere) and I love nature and sunsets. I am very ... how to say. I need 70-300 very soon because with the 18-55 I can not get what I want in a 60%. It is a good goal, but still, I need something more. I also love macro photography. If I can save € 600 and wait for ~ 1 year, or should I enter the USM and the other without waiting for ~ 2 months. Is there a difference in one without the USM and one with it? Please help me! Thank you.
What are you talking about?, Only Two 70-300mm Canon available at the moment and both are USM, all Canon zoom lenses have USM in them (except some very old models). The two models of 70-300mm are the 70-300mm f / 4 IS http://the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-70-300mm-f-4-5.6-IS-USM-Lens- Review.aspx USM and 70-300mm f/4.5 DO IS USM http://the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-70-300mm-f-4.5-5.6-DO-IS-USM-Lens-Review.aspx Neither are suitable for macro, but it is good for the scenes at a zoo, you will notice a big difference compared to the 18-55mm (a little target in comparison) I think it may be necessary to recast the question of questions: Are you referring to the 75-300mm f / 4 III USM? ... If that's what you mean then be avoided is a lens the poor. Http: / / the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-75-300mm-f-4-5.6-III-USM-Lens-Review.aspx
